When you book the "Hostel" formula you get a bed in our largest yurt with a surface of 80m2. This yurt, called "Elg", you share with other guests. It's a nice way to meet and bond with other hikers, backpackers and travellers and share your adventurous stories.

The yurt is beatifully decorated with reindeer, sheep, deer and moose skins and natural accessories. The yurt includes bunk beds, a table with chairs and a cozy sitting corner. The hostel yurt has Wi-Fi, electricity, lighting and heating. Breakfast is included in your stay at Hardanger basecamp and we provide house cleaning every day. We make the beds, provide fresh towels if desired so and empty the trash bins.
